Horse Riding

Your group is picked up in Lyon city and transferred by minibus to the beautiful Beaujolais region. On your arrival, meet our friendly equestrian guide.

After the presentation and allocation of the gentle horses, start a pleasant ride taking the most suitable routes according to the weather and your horse capability.

Take a ride of about 2 hours duration, walk, canter, and possibly even gallop off the beautiful horse-tracks surrounded by secular vineyards.

Stop several times to admire spectacular views of the Beaujolais region & Saone River Valley as well to learn about history, sights and nature with your guide.

Finish the horseback ride at a family winery where a passionate wine-maker will welcome you for a visit of his estate. Learn about the wine-making process and vine-growing before wine-tasting several Beaujolais wines in a friendly atmosphere.

Options:
* The activity "Horse riding" can also take place in the Lyon Monts d'Or area or another region.
* At the end of the horse ride, a lunch or dinner can be served at the winery.
