Morning

In the morning, after a transfer about 35 min. in a deluxe vehicle, explore the magnificent Southern Beaujolais region also called "the small French Toscany". Travel through beautiful rolling hills dotted with secular vineyards, cross several quaint medieval towns built in a gorgeous golden ochre stone and see imposing medieval castles.

Visit Oingt town listed as one of the “157 Most Beautiful Villages in France” and stroll through a warren of little streets with unforgettable names hosting many artists and craftsmen boutiques.

Then, push the door of a small family winery, meet a passionate wine-maker and immerse yourself in history and tradition. Learn about grape growing and the unique beaujolais wine making process called semi-carbonic maceration. Afternoon

Visit of the Beaujolais North Region and wine-tasting of several Crus wines at a vineyard:

In early afternoon, follow this private wine excursion from Lyon travelling to the Northern Beaujolais region. Cross several famous wine appellations including Brouilly, Morgon, Regnié, etc.

On the way, stop in Fleurie village and from La Madone Chapel, enjoy a breathtaking panaroma of the Beaujolais wine region: on clear days, you may have the chance to see the Alps and the Mount Blanc!

With your private guide born in Lyon, learn about soils and climates and how French wines are classified between generic, villages and crus appellations.

Finally, stop at a chateau winery to culminate this splendid Beaujolais private wine tour. In the magnificent 17th century cellar full of oak barrels, wine-taste 5 different wines including Morgon & Moulin-à-Vent and Fleurie Crus.
